#endSARS MOVEMENT

The #endSARS movement was sparked by protests in Nigeria after viral footage circulated online of the killing of a young man in Ughelli Delta State on October 3rd 2020 at the hands of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS). Philadelphia joined the global #endSARS movement  to show solidarity with peaceful protesters demanding an end to police brutality and calling for larger reforms to the country.  PNP led protests on 10/17/20 and 10/24/20  and continues to use its voice to raise awareness of the movement.
