Philadelphia VIP is an organization that recruits, trains, and supports volunteer attorneys who provide free legal services to low-income clients.  In order to do this wonderful work however, Philadelphia VIP must raise significant funds to continue to support pro bono assistance to poor or under served individuals in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia VIP is searching for a Development Associate to foster a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization and work closely with the Executive Director to manage fundraising efforts.

Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent skills in communication (oral and written) and relationship-building, demonstrated fundraising interest, and commitment to access to justice for underserved communities. The candidate should be a self-starter, attentive to detail, and successful at managing multiple deadlines. The ideal candidate enjoys working with a close-knit team in a fast-paced office and embraces technology. Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience in fundraising, working with volunteers, and events management preferred. This position is non-exempt with generous employee benefits and a great team atmosphere.
