September 26, Inis Theatre Company presents The Playboy of the Western World, a contemporary adaptation of the Irish classic is written by Nigerian playwright Bisi Adigun and iconic Irish writer Roddy Doyle. This adaptation follows Nigerian refugee Christopher Malomo, who arrives in a run down pub in Dublin with a wild tale he hopes will save his life. The play continues its run through October 13th. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
This play presents the intersection of two unique cultures through the eyes of the Nigerian lead character who has just arrived in Ireland.
